DeployCat is a desktop application that runs on your local machine. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about what data we collect and how we use it.

2. Data We Collect

Authentication Data

DeployCat uses Firebase Authentication for user sign-in. We collect your email address and a display name to create and manage your account.

Billing Data

Payments are processed through Stripe. We do not store your credit card or payment details - those are handled securely by Stripe. We receive your subscription status and plan type.

Usage Data

We may collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the Software, including feature usage statistics and crash reports. No personal game server data (passwords, world files, configurations) is transmitted to our servers.

3. Data Stored Locally

The following data is stored on your local machine and is never transmitted to our servers:

• Game server files, worlds, and configurations
• Server passwords and credentials
• SteamCMD authentication tokens
• Scheduled task definitions

4. Third-Party Services

DeployCat integrates with the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google) - Authentication services. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Stripe - Payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Steam / SteamCMD (Valve) - Game server downloads. See Valve's Privacy Policy.
• CurseForge (Overwolf) - Mod downloads for Minecraft and other games. See Overwolf's Privacy Policy.
• Modrinth - Open-source mod downloads for Minecraft. See Modrinth's Privacy Policy.
• Tailscale - Optional secure networking for the DeployCat Connect feature. You create your own Tailscale account directly with Tailscale Inc., and game traffic flows peer-to-peer between your devices - it is never routed through or visible to DeployCat. See Tailscale's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain your authentication and billing data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting privacy@DeployCat.app.

6. Cookies

The DeployCat desktop application does not use cookies. Our website may use essential cookies for basic functionality.

7. Children's Privacy

DeployCat is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for data processing

9. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data. Authentication is handled via Firebase's secure infrastructure, and payments are processed by Stripe's secure systems. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the Software or our website.
